Principle/Structure

This is a device that can collect fine powder that is scattered when powder is introduced while sucking it up. This can improve the hygiene of workers working in environments where powder is scattered, and reduce the amount of work required to clean up scattered powder. Built-in dust collector eliminates raw material loss during collection.

The injected powder is sucked into the hopper section.

The fine particles that fly around at that time are attracted to the built-in filter.

Powder adhering to the filter is instantly removed by an air shock using a high-pressure pulse jet.

The powder that is brushed off is collected in a hopper at the bottom of the device.

Features

Principle/Structure

This is a separation device that uses the power of air to remove even fine particles that cannot be separated with a sieve.

1. In the cyclone zone, foreign objects are carried away by rising air currents, and raw materials are decelerated by gravity and fall.
2. In the jet zone, fine particles attached to the raw materials are blown away with a jet stream.
3. In the terminal zone, tertiary air is blown up to carry the separated fine powder upward.
4. The air-cleaned material is discharged from the bottom of the device.

The figure below shows the results of a separation test in which finely cut film (ribbon) was mixed with plastic pellets. Almost 100% separation is achieved by supplying secondary air and tertiary air.
