Almost no mixing

  • The flow of high-pressure concentrated seawater into the high-pressure seawater inside the ERD is called mixing.
    If the mixing volume is large, the salinity of the high-pressure seawater supplied to the RO membrane increases, and the pressure required for filtering through the RO membrane increases, which increases the energy consumption of the High Pressure Pump and is uneconomical.
    DeROs® has a piston built into the cylinder that recovers energy, which separates seawater from concentrated seawater. By controlling the inner diameter of the cylinder and the outer diameter of the piston with high precision, we have achieved mixing of less than 1%.
