CBM-TP (Thermal Protection), Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) certified, is flexible mat which is Aluminum foil and silica cloth or fiber glass.
CBM-TP is used during the construction of membrane tanks for the containment of liquefied natural gas (-163°C) built made of according to GTT insulation systems. CBM-TP has dedicated to be used as a thermal protection of flammable components, generally made of plywood, located underneath fillet welds carried out on membranes of various thickness and types (Invar or stainless steel).
