A small, lightweight submersible pump driven by an HVE engine. Dividable into engine, flexible hose shaft assembly, and pump unit, this submersible pump is easy to house and carry and requires no priming.

Integration of muddy water type and clean water type by improving durability

For the pumping unit, its hitherto abrasion-prone casing and casing plate are now made of abrasion-resistant material. Mechanical seal protects the shaft from the ingress of muddy water to make the bearings last longer. Hitherto divided into a clean water type and a muddy water type, the EFP is now more durable than before and usable in both applications.

Higher pump performance

The impeller has been reshaped from its current three-vane type into a five-vane one to increase the head and discharge. As a result, for a discharge of 200 L/min, the head used to be 16 m and can now rise to nearly 19 m. (Maximum head has gone up by 19% and maximum discharge by 42% from our earlier HFP models.) Wear that is increased by the higher performance is combatted by using wear-resistant material.

The flexible hose shaft assembly is of a simple hexagonal joint system that facilitates detachment and reattachment. The pump, on the other hand, is equipped with an oil-sealed holder joint to prevent reverse water flow into the shaft. The result is longer lives of the shaft and the bearings in the pump.
