Airbrushes are an art tool mainly used for coating compact items and they are used for paintings, plastic models, custom paint on automobiles and motorcycles, and nail art. Our RichPen brand airbrushes have been a longtime best seller for over fifty years.

The standard handpiece and two types with pistol grips
The compact Apollo series comes with a 0.2 mm ultra-fine nozzle and its handpiece features a double-action trigger for providing a delicate touch. Other models we have developed include the Gunpiece series, which combine the functional handpiece with a pistol grip, and the Rich 8 series, which can coat wide areas.

Two types of containers are available: easy-to-handle gravity feed tanks and pressure feed tanks that provide a stable flow of liquid. The polyethylene gravity feed tanks come in sizes ranging from 0.5 L to 4 L and the stainless steel pressure feed tanks come in sizes ranging from 4 L to 39 L.

The easy-to-use gravity feed tanks

The polyethylene containers are attached at a high position to automatically supply liquid and are suitable for low-viscosity liquids. The attachable E-series container is compatible with a tube that has an outer diameter of 6 mm (for Lumina automatic spray guns and Magic Cut) and the attachable G-series container (mainly for the Oil Snake) is compatible with a tube that has an outer diameter of 10 mm.

Pressure feed tanks that can provide a stable flow of liquid

Since the pressure feed tanks use compressed air to supply liquid, they can provide a stable flow even with high-viscosity liquids. Our wide range of optional accessories ensure stable operations even on production lines and similar places, such as the level gauge which can be used to visually check the remaining amount of liquid or the lower-limit float switch which compatible with users’ lamps and alarms that can notify the user when the liquid level is low.

The Cool Dambo is an air blowing device that can be attached magnetically. Its round magnets provide a dependable amount of adhesive force (25 kgf) and its flexible long nozzle allows the user to adjust the blowing direction. It is used to meet numerous applications.

High staying power that will not waver even under the pressure of factory use

The flexible iron nozzle (the Dambo nozzle) is made to be durable and it can provide strong air pressure of up to 0.7 MPa steadily while maintaining its position. Available lengths are 30 cm, 40 cm, and 50 cm. Available blowing patterns are round and flat-fan, and up to four nozzles can be linked.

This series is for applying release agents to die casts. This series has a lineup of many specialized models including models designed not to be clogged by the graphite contained in release agents, a dual-side spraying type that can coat two molds on the left and right simultaneously, and a straight round pattern type which has a cylindrical nozzle that can cover distance and spray a mold that is far away.

The DS-1 series (pictured on the right) features a wide diameter O-ring in the body interior to suppress the valve, giving it a clog-resistant construction for spraying release agents containing graphite. The AW-2 series has nozzles on the left and right to spray in both directions at once. It also comes with an air blower pipe attachment, so it can fulfill multiple roles on its own, from coating with release agents to clearing the target area with air.

Lumina offers a lineup of attachments and accessories that can be used with our automatic spray guns including control boxes, manual air valves, and fixation equipment. From doing simple test sprays to full-scale operations on production lines, they can be used for a variety of applications.

The control box for pressing and tapping lubrication
The automatic control box comes in two varieties, the AC-9 and the AC-8. The AC-9 accepts a signal from the equipment end (a non-voltage contact) and the AC-8 operates with input from a limit switch. After receiving a signal, the AC-9 adjusts the delay until the next spray (the standby time). The user can set it to spray as frequently as preferred.; for example, it can spray once per three signals received. Users can only set the spraying time with the AC-8, which is typically used in conjunction with the Tap Touch, an automatic tap lubrication device.. Both operate on 100 VAC.

We also offer manual air valves and fixation equipment
Options for manual air valves for turning spray guns on and off include a manual hand valve (the HV6-6) and a foot air valve (the three port C-60E and the two port C-50E). We also offer attachments that are easy to attach to all types of spray guns, such as the Magnet Base (MB-1) or the G Holder (for the ST and HM series).

Oil Snake is a drip-feed lubrication device featuring a simple design – just twist the valve and it will drip lubricant from the tip of its long nozzle (the “snake”). You can adjust the flow rate of the lubricant by using the cap on the tip.. The snake is a flexible copper pipe that can bend to meet the required angle.

Users can specify the length and the container
The long nozzle (the “snake”) comes in 185 mm, 285 mm, 385 mm variants. When just one snake cannot provide sufficient lubrication, you can link up to four snakes. Available container sizes are 0.5 L, 1 L, 2 L, and 4 L.

The Tap Touch is a gravity-fed automatic tap lubricator. Controlled by a control box, lubricant flows from the tip of the needle-shaped nozzle to apply the appropriate amount of lubricant to the tap. Operators are freed from lubricating the tap manually with a brush, greatly improving productivity.

The attached control box controls lubrication. The vertical movement of the tap activates the limit switch which opens the valve inside the dispenser, allowing the appropriate amount of lubricant to flow from the tip of the needle-shaped nozzle. We keep the area around the machine clean and comfortable.

Also compatible with multi-spindle tapping machines
You can link each dispenser to up to three needles. Installing multiple dispensers allows simultaneous lubrication of over ten taps.. Users can also specify the length and thickness of the needle (the needle-shaped nozzle).

The Magic Cut e-mist is a cutting fluid and coolant delivery device for cooling, lubricating, and chip removal. It is a long-time bestseller that has undergone various model revisions to support Japanese manufacturing since its release in 1965.

The long nozzle can be freely set to any angle

The long nozzle that attaches to the atomizer comes in two types: the flexible Z type nozzle, which can handle repeated angle adjustments made by bending the nozzle, or the S-type (shown in the picture), which is a flexible copper pipe nozzle that maintains its spray angle after being set once. Either nozzle can be easily set to directly face the edge of the blade.

It comes in sets with easily installed attachments

Packaged sets contain a container, an air valve, and fixation equipment so users can install the Magic Cut immediately after opening the package. All they have to do is attach an air compressor, making it usable on the day it is purchased. The mist is adjusted with just two adjusters – one for liquid and one for air – so operation is easy.

The MK-3 is Lumina’s high-end model that atomizes liquid to just a few microns by drawing in large amounts of air when forming the mist for creating beautiful coated surfaces. People widely use it for applications such as painting and coating.

The air cap provides high transfer efficiency
The multiple adjustment holes in the MK-3’s air cap are purposely designed to provide a spray that is not too wide. If the spray is too wide, the edges do not adhere to the mist, and it disperses without coating. This works together with the baffle plate structure in the unit interior to lower the force of the mist, creating an atomized mist that coats steadily.

The 12-hole construct creates a micrometer mist
We have equipped the MK-3 with a 12 air hole construct six times more holes than the ST series to create a coating spray gun that delivers a high-quality micrometer mist. The 360-degree uniform flow of atomizing air creates a beautiful, even mist. The main body of the unit has an especially long air channel attached to it, allowing it to draw in a large amount of air to help atomize the liquid to the highest level Lumina provides.

These two series are larger than the standard ST series and feature clog-resistant designs, allowing them to excel at coating with high-viscosity liquids. The PR-40 delivers a flat-fan pattern spray and the MS-8A and MS-8B deliver wide round pattern sprays. Their history of use includes adhesives, paint, drawing oil, honey, and chocolate.

The largest nozzle size compatible with the PR-40 is 3mm (the ST series’ largest size is 2mm), allowing it to handle high viscosity liquids. Also, its unique air cap construction allows it to provide a wide spray at the same time. One PR-40 can cover a wide area, so we also recommend it for applications other than those using high viscosity liquids.

The MS series are Lumina’s most clog-resistant wide round pattern spray guns

The tip construction of the MS series features a wide fluid passageway and it is compatible with a maximum nozzle size of 3mm. With a spiral nozzle that draws the liquid through, it is the most clog-resistant spray gun in our lineup. It is perfectly suited to coating with high viscosity liquids such as adhesives.

Lumina’s line of ultra-compact, lightweight automatic spray guns. We succeeded at creating such a surprisingly compact model by using a simplified valve construction. The line-up offers various unique models, including with a wide flat-fan pattern spray type nozzle with a maximum spray width of up to 600 mm or with a small round pattern needle nozzle.

The ultra-compact nozzle takes up little space

With a width of 20 mm and a height of 50 mm, the HM series has the one of the most compact bodies in the world. This makes them ideal for installing in the narrow spaces on production lines or inside equipment. Since they are lightweight at under 150 g, they are also suitable for installation on robots.

The HM-6LX and HM-3LX use a small round pattern nozzle with an outer diameter of 2 mm. Nozzle length and curve can be specified by the user so they can pass through the gaps in mechanical equipment in order to provide fluid coatings to the object, mold, or other items within with pinpoint accuracy.

The PPS resin body can withstand even special fluids
Within the HM series, the HMP series models have polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) bodies which can withstand strong chemicals like organic solvents, strong acids, and strong alkalis. This feature is useful when coating with fluids that corrode even stainless steel. You can select PPS resin bodies for every item in the HM series (Please note, however, that the needle nozzle on the HMP-6LX and HMP-3LX is made of 304 stainless steel).

The ST series is the most standard series of Lumina automatic spray guns. The ST series offers a wide variety of available bodies, coating patterns, and liquid adjusters, so they can be used for many applications. In addition, they are compatible with long nozzle attachments, creating an unlimited number of variations.

A wide variety of spray patterns

The central part of a spray gun is the liquid nozzle. Outside of the standard nozzle, the ST series is compatible with other nozzles including the SK type with a sharp, pointed tip for providing a small round pattern and the RW type which creates a spiral current and sprays in a wide round pattern. The nozzle type can be matched to the customer’s desired application, whether it is to create as fine a spray as possible or efficiently spray viscosity adhesives.

The ST-10 model with liquid circulation functionality
When spraying liquids that contain solid particles or immiscible liquids, it is important that the liquid is circulated. In cases like that, we recommend the ST-10 model because it has two liquid attachment openings (for input and output). It is a high-end model whose construction features a multi-layered seal and a highly- accurate liquid adjuster. It is suitable for customers who need it for painting, adhesive coating, and other applications.

Stainless steel types
For highly-corrosive liquids, instead of our standard models that feature chrome-plated brass, we have the stainless steel STS series, which is entirely made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, as well as the STA series, which has stainless steel for every portion that contacts liquids. Stainless steel models are also recommended for customers in the food industry who need to ensure that foreign objects are prevented from entering their product.

The C8 series is a detachable long nozzle compatible with ST model spray guns. The compact 7-9 mm square head can be inserted into narrow spaces or small objects to provide an interior coating. The C8 series makes it possible to coat places that were previously impossible to coat. It has a varied history of use in many applications, including painting, coating, lubricant, and release agent applications.

Perfectly suited to internal coating and coating in narrow spaces

The C8 series excels at providing internal coating for small objects with internal diameters of 60 mm and below. By rotating the object and drawing the nozzle from the inside end of the object while spraying, it can create an even film of coating on the object interior. The 45 degree angled head is particularly useful for items with small internal diameters and when the space for spraying is constricted.

Many variations available

The standard head comes in three angles: 90 degrees, 45 degrees, and 0 degrees (perfectly straight). Each head comes in round pattern spray and flat-fan pattern spray variations, and we offer a selection of nozzle diameters including 0.7 mm and 1.1 mm. Aside from the standard 100 mm nozzle length, our lineup also includes 150 mm, 200 mm, and 300 mm nozzles.
