<p class="pb20">When gas containing mist enters the separator, the vortex baffle creates centrifugal force that drives the mist and solids downward toward the inner wall of the vessel, and this motion allows the system to separate them efficiently. Below the vortex baffle, the dish-shaped baffle then sustains the swirling motion and also blocks any liquid in the pool from re-entering the gas stream. The Offensive Odor Control Act introduces odor index regulations.</span></div>

<span dir="auto">typical gas treatment flow is a combination of a wet cleaning device and an activated carbon adsorption device.</span><br />

<p class="pb20">The system packs activated carbon into a fixed activated carbon layer installed inside the device, so it creates a large contact area between the gas and the adsorbent. As the gas then passes through this layer, the activated carbon adsorbs and removes the odorous components, as illustrated in Figure 1, and therefore achieves highly efficient deodorization.</p>

In operation, the system first treats the gas with sulfuric acid in the first chamber, and then uses caustic soda together with sodium hypochlorite in the second chamber to complete the deodorization process.</p>

<p class="pb40"><strong><span dir="auto">Denitration equipment using ammonia water</span></strong></p>
<p>The denitration equipment offers both vertical and horizontal installation options, so the designer can match the layout to the exhaust gas characteristics and the available installation space. In the catalyst layer, the system places a catalyst module that consists of a bundle of 150 × 150 mm honeycomb catalysts.</p>
<p>Next, the operator sprays ammonia water with a two-fluid nozzle, then vaporizes it in an evaporator, and finally mixes it with the exhaust gas immediately before the catalyst layer. In addition, the control system automatically adjusts the injection rate of ammonia water according to the NOx concentration measured at the outlet, so the equipment maintains efficient denitration performance.</p>

<p>Exhaust gases from power generation boilers, diesel engines, and other sources contain SOx (sulfur oxides), and the system removes these components by bringing them into contact with an alkaline agent. First, the system cools the high-temperature, harmful gases in a pre-cooling chamber, and then it sends them into the desulfurization unit. Inside the desulfurization tower, the gases meet the circulating fluid supplied from above onto trays (perforated plates), so the gas and liquid contact each other intensively and the system absorbs and removes SOx efficiently.</p>
<p>To control the concentration of reactive salts, the operator continuously extracts part of the circulating fluid from the desulfurization unit. This circulating fluid contains many solids, such as magnesium sulfite and unburned carbon, which act as COD components. Therefore, the system first sends the fluid to the oxidation tank and reduces COD efficiently there, and then it passes the fluid through an SS filter to separate the solids before the operator finally discharges the treated liquid.</p>

<p>The unit uses a simple structure that combines a settling section and a thickening section. As the raw liquid flows between the inclined plates, the solids move under the combined effect of the horizontal flow and their settling velocity, so they travel downward and separate on the surface of the inclined plates. When the settling velocity of the solids remains constant, a larger surface area occupied by solids in the liquid—namely a larger shadow area (projected area) beneath the inclined plates—directly increases the settling separation capacity.</p>
<p>Therefore, by installing multiple inclined plates in the settling section, the system shortens the settling distance and at the same time enlarges the projected area, which makes the equipment more compact. In addition, a partition plate installed below the inclined plates blocks the separated solids and stops them from floating back up, so overall performance improves further. The manufacturer also selects the inclined plate material according to the liquid properties, using options such as PP, PVC, polycarbonate film, or steel plate.</p>
