<p>A furnace equipped with HRS-DL burners which can be programmed for temperature incremental operation starting from room temperature in continuous heat treatment operation. The furnace is especially suitable for heating of special ceramic materials, in which case the difference between the temperature of the work and temperature of the furnace cannot be so large.</p>

<p>A batch operation heat treatment furnace with a cover on top. The cover is attached with a hinge mechanism for opening and closing making it suitable for handling of long-sized materials. Although the HRS-DL Retractable Type Heat Treatment Furnace has no charging door, it has several merits such as minimum leakage loss and easy maintenance of the interior. The standard model is equipped with the HRS-DL burners. However, depending on design specifications, the HRS-RT(Radiant tube)burners can be used.</p>

<p>HRS (High Cycle Regenerative Combustion System) burners have achieved outstanding energy savings by means of ultra high pre-heated air combustion and high efficiency waste heat recovery systems. These were realized by use of NFK’s patented ceramic honeycomb regenerating media and CEM (Cross Exchange Mechanism), a four-way Switching Device. The HRS-ULN(ultra low NOx) burners based on the latest fuel staging combustion theory have also set a new standard in reducing NOx emissions.</p>
<h4>High Temperature/Pressure Indirect Hot Air Generator<br />
(TN400・TN700)</h4>

<p>Developed in collaboration with TOHO Gas Co.,Ltd., this hot air generator can generate hot air or steam at 400℃ or 700℃ by means of a highly efficient regenerative burner for heating and straight through type finned tubes for the heat exchanger. Operation cost is about 1/3 that of conventional electric heating systems.</p>

<p>With this unit, it is possible to continuously generate high temperature air or steam (1,300K-1,500K) with maximum pressure of 10kPa by application of ultra waste heat recovery system utilizing the ceramic honeycomb. This steam enthalpy intensifier is used in the biomass gasification process developed by KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden) and other gasification processes.</p>

<p>HRS (High Cycle Regenerative Combustion System) burners have achieved outstanding energy savings by means of ultra high pre-heated air combustion and high efficiency waste heat recovery systems. These were realized by use of NFK’s patented ceramic honeycomb regenerating media and CEM (Cross Exchange Mechanism), a four-way Switching Device. The HRS-ULN (ultra low NOx) burners, which are based on the latest fuel staging combustion theory, have consequently set a new standard in reducing NOx emissions. Furthermore, these burners represent a significant advancement in combustion technology, leading to both improved efficiency and environmental benefits.</p>

Furthermore, an additional fuel nozzle for off-gas combustion can be installed, offering increased versatility.</p>

<p>Nippon Furnace started manufacturing and marketing combustion burners soon after World War II, initially under technical licensing agreements with such world famous burner manufacturers as Bloom, Coen, Pillard and Forney. <p>Nippon Furnace started manufacturing and marketing combustion burners soon after World War II, initially under technical licensing agreements with such world famous burner manufacturers as Bloom, Coen, Pillard and Forney. The company later put on sale high quality high efficiency burners developed in its own R&amp;D facilities, and established its position in the combustion technology market. Starting in 1987, the company stepped up its R&amp;D efforts to develop a new Regenerative Combustion System “HRS”, High Cycle Regenerative Combustion System, to simultaneously respond to the evolving global environmental consciousness and meet the needs of a rapidly expanding economy. The HRS Technology was adopted as the core technology in the High Performance Furnace Development Project, one of Japan’s national development projects. Since 1999, the HRS burners have been adopted by many industrial furnaces for the National Field Test Project and have proved their excellence in reducing both fuel consumption (by over 30% compared to conventional burners) and NOx emissions. NFK’s combustion burners and equipment based on the most advanced combustion theory and technical data are now receiving worldwide acclaim for high efficiency and high quality.</p>

<p>HRS (High Cycle Regenerative Combustion System) burners have achieved outstanding energy savings by means of ultra high pre-heated air combustion and high efficiency waste heat recovery systems. These were realized by use of NFK’s patented ceramic honeycomb regenerating media and CEM (Cross Exchange Mechanism), a four-way Switching Device. The HRS-ULN(ultra low NOx) burners based on the latest fuel staging combustion theory have also set a new standard in reducing NOx emissions.</p>

<p>Acid gas which contains H<span class="text_sub">2</span>S, is produced by the desulfurization processes in oil and LNG refining plants. This incinerator oxidizes such toxic gases and hydrocarbons converting into SO<span class="text_sub">2</span> CO<span class="text_sub">2</span> and H<span class="text_sub">2</span>O.<br />
Either natural draft or forced draft is applicable for this system.<br />
No auxiliary fuel firing is required when the LHV of acid gas is over 3,500 kJ/Nm<span class="text_super">3</span>.</p>

<p>The system consists of a combustion chamber, a quenching chamber. A bag filter and an exhaust stack. In the combustion chamber, high-temperature auxiliary fuel firing gas incinerates the waste liquid and/or gas. The incinerated material is then quenched in the quenching chamber.<br />
The quenched gas is fed, and filtered by the bag filter and diffused to the atmosphere from the stack.</p>

<p>Generally, it is difficult to thermally crack liquid waste and gas containing halides such as fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and in dine. Even if cracking and incineration are dune effectively, the processed waste and/or gas has to be carefully handled in equipment constructed of special materials. NFK has successfully overcome the technical difficulties and has developed a reliable incineration and thermal cracking system. The refractory lining materials of the incinerator are designed in accordance with the specific nature of the halides to be fed into the system. The combusted waste gas from combustion chamber flows to the scrubbing tower after it is quenched in the quenching chamber at the bottom and scrubbed by the alkaline liquid in the scrubbing tower filled with special packing materials. The concentration of halides in the exhaust gas can fully meet the strict environmental regulations.</p>

<p>At chemical plants, waste liquids containing solid catalyst particles can undergo thermal cracking through effective contact with the combustion flame of the auxiliary fuel burner in the V-II type vertical incinerator. Combustion gas is quenched in the direct contact type quenching chamber at the bottom and solid materials are recovered by a venturi scrubber.<br />
The incineration and the thermal cracking process are performed effectively using the space and walls of the incinerator. Recovery of solid materials is possible even if the ratio of the solids in the waste liquid is as high as 30%-40%.</p>

<p>This air generator can reach the maximum enthalpy condition within two minutes after ignition because of its all metal construction. Furthermore, there is no risk of solid matter dispersion into the slipstream because of its non castable refractories construction.</p>

<p>Any type of fuel-oil, gas or pulverized coal can be combusted in this burner. Mixed feeding of different fuels is also possible.<br />
The burner consists of three concentric rings. In the center is an oil burner.Around it is a gas burner, and around the gas burner is a pulverized coal burner.Primary air is supplied between each burner.</p>
