It is commonly utilized for tunnel excavators and concrete spraying carts. This type delivers higher performance for horizontal retrieve and is well suited for gantry cranes and carts with a long traveling distance. The drum, slip ring, and spring parts are separated to facilitate the maintenance and spring replacement.

This “cable reel” boasts a driving force sourced from a totally enclosed fan-cooled motor combined with an oil immersion slip unit.
