BTR series (1.5-2.2.3.7-5.5kW)

  • Light weight
    Incorporating plenty of lightweight materials remarkably reduces weight to the minimum.
  • Employing a new development motor.
    Our newly developed special motor suppresses the rotor tempera- ture rise to the minimum thereby completely preventing the motor from trouble such as burning due to overloading, the weak point of the ordinary single suction model. As a result, the new model’s service life has extended remarkably to more than three times that of our ordinary models.
  • Wear resistance is furthermore enhanced by selection of new material.
    We carefully selected the special synthetic rubber as a new material for the pump section, including the casing, rear liner, and discharge cover. This selection dramatically reduces the risk of trouble when using water mixed with earth and sand or muddy water.
  • Easy maintenance.
    To disassemble the impeller from the pump section, simply remove a few fixing bolts from the strainer. Additionally, we adopt the single suction structure in the same manner as before, eliminating the outer casing.
  • Vortex type Impeller.
    Impeller is a vortex type thus saving the trouble of adjusting the impeller clearance. The new pump allows for smooth passing of foreign matter thereby almost always preclud- ing such trouble as a lock of pump operation due to clogging or blocking.

Powerfully collecting flotage and scum on the water.
FP-series is a floating scum pump to collect suspended solids on water surface. The float maintains a steady water depth at the suction port. Since the pump is based on a submersible pump capable of handling sewage water and filth, it has a motor with a high water sealing capacity and is less likely to clog with suspended solids.

Features

  • Reduced operation time
    The suction port, which is always near the surface of the water, has a higher collection rate than other methods, such as a septic tank truck, which thus allows a reduction in operation time.
  • Unattended operation
    At the onsite wastewater treatment system without a res- idential caretaker, the floating scum pump collects and forcibly returns the scum generated at a settling basin, thereby reducing the odor generation.

Application example (Collecting scum at the wastewater treatment system)
This type of pump facilitates the collection of suspended solids or soft scum (floc) in sewage water. At the onsite wastewater treatment system without a residential caretaker, floc generated at a settling basin becomes malodorous scum. Once installed, a float pump collects and forcibly returns the floc, thereby reducing the level of odor generated.

Features

  1. Micro thermal protector
    The built-in micro thermal protector (motor protection device) prevents possible motor burnouts due to overloading, impeller locking, or open phases.
    * 5.5/7.5 kW models incorporate the automatic cut-off function.
  2. Motor
    Dry motors with class E insulation are used. (Motors with class F insulation are also available.)
  3. Discharge connection
    Submersible pump is automatically connected to the discharge pipe.
  4. Cable entry
    Core sealing is employed to prevent water leakage into the motor chamber by blocking water that streams along the core wires even if the cable sheath is damaged or the end of the cable is immersed in water.
  5. Impeller
    The most suitable non-clogging type impeller, either volute or volute mixed flow type, can be selected for the application.
  6. Shaft seal
    The double mechanical sealing, made of highly wear-resistant material, at the upper and lower parts prevent water leakage into the motor chamber.
  7. Leakage detector
    Deterioration of the motor insulation is prevented by the immersion detector that activates when water penetrates into the motor chamber.

    The core wire seal shuts the watar out from penetrating into the motor through the core wire.
  2. Motor protector
    Thermal protector (a built-in automatic reset type motor protector) or thermal switches are embedded to the motor winding.
  3. Air-filled submersible motor
  4. Shaft seal
    A highly wear resistant double mechanical seal is employed. Besides, combined use of an oil seal further extends the life. (except for some models)
  5. Discharge connection
    The system automatically connects the pump to the discharge pipe.
  6. Impeller
    The factory fully adjusts the solid handling type channel impellers to the dynamic/static balance.

Performance Curves

Features And Construction

  1. Cable entry with core wire seal
    The core wire seal prevents water from penetrating into the motor through the core wire.
  2. Motor protector
    A thermal protector (built-in automatic reset type motor protector) or thermal switches are embedded in the motor winding
  3. Shaft seal
    A highly wear resistant double mechanical seal combined with the use of an oil seal further extends working life. (not available on all models)
  4. Air-filled submersible motor
  5. Discharge connection
    The pump is automatically connected to the discharge pipe.
  6. Impeller
    Single-vane, semi-open channel impeller with helix formed passage realizes excellent pass-through capability. All impellers are subject to the dynamic and static balance adjustment at factory.
