Perfect for machining with long overhangs length and intermittent machining
Inserts have a large rake angle, body is designed to positive axial rake and has good cutting ability
The low-resistance design achieved highly efficient machining in long overhang machining and intermittent cutting.
It achieved high depth of cut and high accuracy machining
Max. depth of cut (ap)=15mm is possible. SIC-EVO is usable for wide applications such as face milling, slotting, pocket milling.
Coating JC8050,JC8118 is available
Coating JC8050,JC8118 is available.
It can be used for a wide range of work materials, general steel, hardened steel, and stainless steel.
FAQ about SIC-EVO
Please let me know, how to choose insert grade.
We recommend JC8050 for general steel, JC8118 for 30HRC to 52HRC workpieces and cast iron.
JC8050 is recommended for austenitic stainless steel and JC8118 for martensitic stainless steel.
