◆Installation method

● The allowable load for welding type is not described as it depends on the welders’ skill.
● When using Separator-Rebar Joint S with D10, use it in the allowable load of 2.94kN or less

◆Application
● Foundation formwork, pressure plate formwork
● Slab outer wall of box culvert, etc.

◆When using Separator-Rebar Joint
● Note that if the screwing length of the separator is short (11.5mm or less for W5/16 and W3/8), the prescribed strength can no bt secured.
● Check the product for damage, etc., before use.
● Do not use the product for any purpose other than its intended purpose.
● When installing the product, confirm its specifications and precautions, and handle the product with sufficient care.
● The allowable load is applied when Okabe separator is used, it will not be guaranteed when another separator is used

Cautions.
● Tighten the nut to approximately 1.96 kN·cm (200kgf·cm). Always use the product within its allowable load.
● You should not exceed the allowable load for an angle in directions that are not perpendicular or parallel to the perpendicular direction.
● Remember that the numerical value of the allowable load represents the strength of the product’s main body and does not account for deformation that reinforcing bar arrangements might cause.

● For using product M or MW, position a rebar as shown in Fig. 1.
◆Regarding welding Separator…
● Before attaching the product to the rebar, weld the separator.
● Welding the separator directly to the rebar may decrease the initial torque due to welding heat. Thus, after the assembly has cooled from welding, make sure to retighten the nut.
● Avoid filling the air-bleeding hole during welding of the separator.
