Thermocouple Features
K thermocouple (chromel-alumel)
Used for measuring temperatures up to about 1100°C, it is cheaper and has a higher generating power than R thermocouples, and is the most widely used in industry.
J thermocouple (iron-constantan)
It is commonly used to measure temperatures below 600°C, and is the second most widely used after K thermocouples due to its high sensitivity.
T thermocouple (copper-constantan)
It is used at temperatures below 300°C and its sensitivity is slightly lower than that of K, but it has high accuracy and low electrical resistance, so it is relatively widely used for measuring temperature.
Other main materials
SU347, SUS310S, Inconel, Hastelloy X. Using the material for long periods of time near its maximum operating temperature will cause accelerated deterioration.

Compression fitting
By passing the cotter ball and tightening screw through the sensor and then tightening the tightening screw, the cotter ball is pressed against the protective tube, fixing the sensor and compression fitting in place and creating an airtight seal.
