Features
It is ideal for lighting visual inspections on production lines and image processing inspections. The LED light color can be selected from red, green, or blue depending on the application.
It produces a natural light without the glare that is typical of LEDs, and is free of flicker and unevenness.
Since shadows are less likely to form, you can see what you want to see clearly without stress.
Dimming function
Dimmer switch (left): You can adjust the brightness to any value between 20% and 100%.
Power switch (right): You can turn the light on and off with just a light touch.

Irradiation of light during inspection
For visual inspection
Light is irradiated onto the object to be inspected from above or diagonally above. Scratches that are difficult to see with white light will appear white when colored light is irradiated onto them.
(*Appearance may vary depending on the material.)
In the case of image processing inspection
A light is placed behind the transparent object to be inspected, such as a lens or glass, and an image is taken. By adding image processing, the inspection can be performed more clearly.
Actual shooting test – visual inspection
A scratch on a shiny stainless steel material was photographed using white light and colored light, both illuminated from the same angle.
When illuminated with white light, the scratch is unclear, but when illuminated with colored light it is easier to see.

To inspect the lens for scratches and dirt, an NLUD120-15(G)-AC (green light emission) was placed on the back and an image was taken from above. This reproduces an image processing inspection.
The difference in how scratches and dirt look can be seen depending on the strength of the contrast.
