It is a compact and low-cost automatic air release valve.

Features

When the valve is closed, the valve body is completely separated from the float, so there is no water leakage caused by pipe vibration or pulsation.
All parts are made from non-corrosive materials, so there is no concern about rust-contaminated water.
A check valve is built into the discharge side (prevents air from being drawn in even if the piping or equipment becomes negatively pressurized).
The float is made from molded synthetic resin, so there is no risk of deformation or water absorption.
Even in the event of leakage, it can be prevented by screwing a manually operated stop valve into the discharge side. This is also effective when there is no stop valve on the inlet side of the air release valve.

Installation Example

Please install it at the top of the piping.
If h is made as long as possible and φd as large as possible, bubble separation becomes especially easy.

Precautions When Installing

Install at the highest point of the piping or equipment, and as vertically as possible.
Attach a stop valve on the inlet side to allow for water shutoff during maintenance and inspection.
When starting water flow for the first time, close the above stop valve and flush the piping thoroughly to remove iron particles or debris so that no foreign matter enters the air release valve. Then open the stop valve fully.
There is a possibility that debris may adhere to the valve body of the air release valve and cause water leakage. Insert a vinyl tube (inner diameter 6 mm) into the outlet of the air release valve and guide the end to a drain. If leakage occurs, turn the manual shut-off valve to stop the leak.
