Features

The PL-650 series is ideal for indoor locations that require dust-proofing and drip-proofing, and like the PL-550 series,
it is widely used as a general-purpose vacuum switch in the industrial sector, medical equipment, chemical plants, etc.
A metal bellows is used for the pressure-receiving element.
The tip of the operating lever has a quick action mechanism with a coil spring, and the electrical open/close mechanism is also sensitive.
Furthermore, the double action of the snap action switch makes this an automatic vacuum control device with high accuracy and reliability.
In addition, the set value can be readjusted from the outside without removing the cover, and a scale plate (indicator) is attached so that the set value can be seen at a glance.

Metal bellows are used for vacuum detection. In the standard model, the bellows are made of phosphor bronze, which is suitable for non‑corrosive gases and liquids—such as air and water—at temperatures up to 90 °C.
For steam above 100 °C or for corrosive liquids, stainless steel (SUS316) is also available as an optional material.
