◆Anti-Vibration Boring Bars

• Damping bars are tool shanks with an integrated damping system, designed for highly efficient deep hole finish boring.
• There are six different Smart Damper anti-vibration holders available for machine tools with DIN 69871, BT, and HSK connections. All executions feature center-through coolant supply.
• When it comes to vibration and tooling, the buzzword often mentioned is “overhang,” or the length-to-diameter ratio.
• As the overhang increases, it becomes the most limiting factor for performance, as vibration becomes more likely to occur. This is especially common for die and mold, aerospace, automobile, and oil and gas manufacturers.
