Eagle Industry Floating Seal ES100 & ES764

Manufacturer: Eagle Industry Co., Ltd.
Model: ES100 & ES764
Features
- Floating seals are simple products composed of two components: a seal ring made of special cast iron and a rubber component (O-ring or gasket).
- Two identical seals are paired during use.
- The seal ring, serving as the sliding component, does not contact the shaft directly, as it is supported by the rubber component, allowing it to closely follow the radial and thrust motions of the shaft.
- Developed for slurry applications, seal rings are made from an extremely hard, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant material.
- The rubber component presses the sliding surfaces of the seal ring and functions as a seal, utilizing a material highly resistant to cold and heat with minimal compression set to ensure a long service life.
- Floating seals are primarily used in crawler rollers, travel drives, and idlers of construction and agricultural machinery, as well as in conveyors, mixers, and various digging machines.
- They are widely applied in relatively low-speed operations exposed to foreign matter.
