Energy recovery efficiency up to 99.7%
- By optimizing the shape of the water flow section, internal losses are reduced, resulting in an energy recovery efficiency of up to 99.7%.

Almost no mixing
- The flow of high-pressure concentrated seawater into the high-pressure seawater inside the ERD is called mixing.
If the mixing volume is large, the salinity of the high-pressure seawater supplied to the RO membrane increases, and the pressure required for filtering through the RO membrane increases, which increases the energy consumption of the High Pressure Pump and is uneconomical.
DeROs® has a piston built into the cylinder that recovers energy, which separates seawater from concentrated seawater. By controlling the inner diameter of the cylinder and the outer diameter of the piston with high precision, we have achieved mixing of less than 1%. Compared to other types of ERD, the power consumption of the High Pressure Pump is lower.
There is no increase in the amount of mixing over operating time.
Leaking Zero
- By adopting a Switching Valve with an internal seal, there is zero leakage of high-pressure concentrated seawater to the low-pressure concentrated seawater side.
This contributes to reducing the power consumption of High Pressure Pump.
No lubrication required
- Reciprocating type, no lubrication required. No leakage inside the ERD, high efficiency.
Applicable to a wide range of flow rates and pressures
- We can cover any size plant, whether small, medium or large.
Low noise and vibration
- The flow rate in each cylinder is precisely controlled by the Switching Valve installed in each cylinder.
- Prevents the piston from colliding with the end of the cylinder.
- In addition, low noise and vibration are achieved by operating the piston at a low speed.
Maintainability
- Maintenance is limited to on-site replacement of consumable parts. The piston that moves inside the cylinder does not require maintenance.
