For applications where chips scatter heavily along the Y-axis, this configuration performs best. First, the design keeps the X-axis lightweight; consequently, technicians can replace it easily. Meanwhile, because the Y-axis sits close to the machining zone, the system uses a telescopic cover to manage high-temperature inserts and, moreover, to endure heavy-duty cutting. In contrast, the X-axis adopts a barrier-flex solution, which therefore delivers the bellows’ high-speed stability and, additionally, accommodates large coolant flow and high-temperature inserts. Overall, this setup balances durability on the Y-axis with agility on the X-axis, and thus maintains both reliability and throughput.
