By using external pilot-type valves, the 112 and 182 series deliver diverse 2- and 3-port valve functions while still maintaining excellent performance in a compact body. Additionally, the series supports a wide range of applications, which makes it ideal for systems that demand flexible flow control and reliable switching.

For positive pressure applications, the 112E1 and 182E1 models ensure stable switching from low to high pressure (0 to 0.7 MPa / 0 to 102 psi). Moreover, because these valves impose no restrictions on connection port locations or flow direction, they adapt easily to various installation layouts. They also operate as 2- or 3-port valves for both normally closed and normally open types, and they function effectively as selector valves or divider valves.

For vacuum applications, the 112E1 and V182E1 models offer the same flexibility. Furthermore, they place no limits on port orientation or flow direction, allowing dependable operation in both normally closed and normally open configurations. Since these valves support both vacuum and positive-pressure environments, they can also work as vacuum-breaking valves.
