The system performs reliably across a wide range of application environments, and it consistently maintains strong protection performance. It includes an environmental protection rating equivalent to IP65, which resists both dust ingress and water jets, and this rating is also available as an option for demanding installations. In addition, the valve supports operation at a maximum pressure of 1 MPa (10.2 kgf/cm²) [145 psi], which ensures dependable performance even under high-pressure conditions. Moreover, stainless steel screws provide excellent resistance to corrosion, and they significantly extend durability in harsh industrial settings. Furthermore, the screws remain compatible with NCU (non-ion) specifications, which allows flexible use across various equipment models.
The system also improves safety and reliability through a series of well-engineered features. It uses a non-neutral construction that eliminates unstable operation during valve position switching, and consequently, the valve maintains consistent control accuracy. Additionally, it incorporates a manual override located under a protective cover, which helps prevent accidental or erroneous operation. As a result, operators experience safer handling, smoother adjustments, and greater confidence during maintenance work.
A wide range of wiring types and options further expands system adaptability. The PB series plug-in type offers numerous wiring selections, such as D-sub connectors, terminal boards, and serial transmission types. These options remain compatible with many serial transmission systems across different companies, and therefore, users can easily tailor wiring configurations to suit their applications. Moreover, the safe block enhances functionality when combined with a 3-position exhaust center valve on the same manifold. It ensures a secure intermediate stop for cylinders and holds its position for extended periods, and it does this without being affected by air leaks between the spool and valve body. Consequently, equipment operates with greater stability and reduced downtime.
The system also supports an individual air supply and exhaust spacer, which completely isolates one valve on the manifold from the others. It then performs separate air supply and exhaust functions for each valve, and this configuration significantly improves control precision. Furthermore, this design enhances modularity, supports easier diagnostics, and ultimately increases operational efficiency.
