Features
- The extract in the flask is steamed in a hot water bath and dripped onto the top of the sample.
- When the liquid reaches the same level as the top of the siphon tube, the extract returns to the flask along with the liquid due to the siphon principle.
- The extract then evaporates to the top again, repeating the process until the extract accumulates in the flask.
- This device extracts and quantitatively analyzes crude fat contained in food and other substances.
- It offers a higher cooling effect than the JIS type, and the extractor’s siphon tube is protected by a steam pipe, reducing the risk of breakage.
