Usage example

Push Latch, No Magnet Type (S)

  • ・Please refer to the “Example of Use” diagram above when creating the holder shape and the body mounting part. Note that the holding power will vary depending on the holder shape and thickness.
  • – The center misalignment between the receiver and catch should be 0.2 mm or less.
  • – When using on a door, the rotation radius from the center of rotation to the receiving center should be 30 mm or more.
When using vertically (rotating 90°), the radius should be 40 mm or more.
  • – The structure must ensure an unlock stroke of 1.5 mm.
  • -Please install a stopper at the unlock position.

Usage notes

  • When used in high temperature, high humidity (where water or other liquids are present), dusty or dirty places, the strength and holding power may decrease.
  • Do not use on doors where load is applied to the catch when locked.
  • Use a structure that does not apply the door’s own weight when locked.
  • ・Do not use on doors or structures that have been loaded with springs, etc.
If the load on the door receiving part is greater than the force of the spring built into the push latch, or if the friction resistance of the door rotation part is great, the latch will not be able to be released from the locked state.
  • Do not forcefully remove the receiver or door when it is locked.
  • -Do not use in a structure that corrects the door when locked.
  • Do not use multiple units on the door.
