Features

• Butyl rubber (IIR) has excellent heat, cold and weather resistance, and is also resistant to water and chemicals.
• It also has low gas permeability, so it is used for tire inner tubes and other applications.
• However, it swells in mineral oil, so it cannot be used for general hydraulic equipment seals, and is not suitable for oil-resistant applications.
