This replaceable-tip turning cutting tool is specially designed for small lathes, including the Universal Precision Lathe Compact 7, and features a dedicated blade shape ideal for cutting sticky, hard workpieces such as stainless steel. This cutting tool series features a lineup of tips made from fine-grain carbide with a special coating that is heat-resistant, weld-resistant, and wear-resistant. This value set includes four pieces. The parting tools are hardened, just like those for larger machines. The parting tips are TiN-coated. It comes in four 8mm square shapes: right-hand single-edged, straight, parting, and boring, each with a carbide tip for finishing stainless steel.
