The head (claw portion) is made in one piece (welded-free, integrated construction) using carbon steel equivalent to S70C, and undergoes heat treatment including hardening (increases strength and wear resistance) and tempering (increases elasticity).  The handle is made of natural wood that fits comfortably in the hand. Five-prong type.
