An electrical conductivity meter (conductivity meter) is one of the indicators of water quality. By measuring the value of the current flowing between electrodes, it is possible to determine whether the water is highly pure or contains many impurities. The more impurities (ionic molecules) there are in the water, the easier it is for current to flow, and the higher the value will be. The unit commonly used is [μS/cm] (microsiemens per centimeter). It is used in a wide range of industries for various applications, from managing pure water used in the manufacturing processes of pharmaceuticals and drinking water, to concentration control of cooling water and circulating water, and management of liquid fertilizers and wastewater.
