TECHNOPLAN TMC Series Coolant Separator

Manufacturer: TECHNOPLAN
Model: TMC series
TMC Coolant Separator
<Application>
- This unit is incorporated into a grinding-fluid purification and circulation system. Using magnets, it collects magnetic sludge from the grinding fluid and purifies the coolant.
<Features>
- Extends the service life of filters and other components in the grinding-fluid purification and circulation system.
- By removing sludge during the process, this unit reduces scratches on workpieces and enables precision machining.
- It also extends tool life, enabling more precise machining and a better surface finish.

Point 1 — Safe and Easy Maintenance!
The drive section is equipped as standard with a cover designed with both safety and appearance in mind. Components such as the motor and squeeze roller can be easily inspected and replaced, providing excellent maintainability.
Point 2 — Superior Sludge Collection Performance!
By optimizing the arrangement and combination of the internal magnets and magnetic-field configuration, the unit can handle various types of grinding debris and sludge, including fine sludge, weakly magnetic materials, and needle-shaped or thread-shaped shavings.
Depending on the application, an optional ultra-high magnetic-force drum with a maximum surface magnetic flux density of 120 mT (1,200 G) can also be manufactured.

Sludge discharge condition
Point 3 — Improved Durability and Squeezing Performance!
A newly designed rubber roller is installed, with improvements made to the rubber material, hardness, and squeezing method.
Thanks to the optimized magnetic-array design, sludge is squeezed uniformly before being discharged, greatly improving the durability of the rubber roller.
Because the rubber roller uses a forced-drive mechanism, the standard model can also handle high-viscosity oil-based grinding fluids.

Newly designed rubber roller
Point 4 — Industry-Leading Low Center-of-Gravity Design!
Thanks to its industry-leading low center-of-gravity design, the inlet is positioned very low, allowing the unit to be installed with washing machines in a wide variety of installation environments.
Fluid can also enter from the top of the main tank, making the unit suitable even for washing machines where piping cannot be installed.
In addition, the motor can be mounted on either the left or right side according to the available installation space.
Note: Changing the motor mounting position (left/right) at the time of shipment is available as an option.

| Mainly intended for grinding processes and ideal for fine sludge. For applications such as cylindrical grinding where a large amount of sludge is discharged, the high magnetic force type “H” is recommended. | For machining with relatively viscous oil-based grinding fluid, the “S” type is recommended. For sludge made of materials with weak magnetic properties, the “S□H” type is recommended. | ||||

※1: Please consult us regarding model selection. The appropriate model depends on the machining process, workpiece material, and sludge characteristics. Depending on these conditions, standard lineup models may not be suitable. If you provide samples of the grinding fluid and sludge, we can conduct tests and recommend the optimal model.
※2: The recovery rate shown is an example of results obtained from our in-house testing. Actual values may vary depending on operating conditions.
