The KID Dryer is an agitation type indirect heating dryer. By introducing gas at a low velocity from the gas dispersion plate, the KID Dryer reduces the power required to agitate the powder and particle layer by 1/3 to 1/10 and facilitates the maintenance work.

Features

The KID Dryer artfully associates the air blasting effect with the agitation effect, minimizing the air quantity required, i.e., to 1/5 to 1/20 of that for fluidized bed.

Larger clearance between the walls and the heating surface enables weight reduction of the agitation mechanism.

Nearly 100-percent hold-up is available to make the equipment compact in size.
