Features

• The silicon nitride used in the protective tube of the TFB is a sintered Si3N4 material and is used as a component for molten aluminum.
• What are the characteristics of silicon nitride?
  ◇Because it is not eroded by molten aluminum, it does not contaminate the molten metal.
  ◇Decrease in mechanical strength is small in the temperature range of molten aluminum (1000℃ or less)
  *Maximum operating temperature is 1250℃
  ◇ Less adherence of molten aluminum
  ◇ Can be used without preheating due to excellent thermal shock resistance
  *The non-metallic protective tube may be damaged due to impact, etc., so please be careful when installing.
