Use Purpose

These gauges are designed to efficiently classify the images of flaws in radiographic photographs, and are each based on the following three standards:

JIS Z 3104-1995 ‘Radiographic Testing Method for Steel Weld Joints’
JIS Z 3105-2003 ‘Radiographic Testing Method for Aluminum Weld Joints’
JIS G 0581-1999 ‘Radiographic Testing Method for Cast Steel Products’.

Use Purpose

For Magnetic Particle Inspection Standard Test Piece （JIS Z 2320-1）

1. Confirmation of the strength and direction of the magnetic field applied to the test surface.
2. Performance inspection of equipment, magnetic powder, and inspection liquid.
3. Setting the effective range for flaw detection.
4. Confirmation of test operations and conditions.

1. Made-to-order products may take several months to deliver.
2. For the A1 and A2 type standard test pieces, the model number on the left of the slash indicates the depth of the artificial flaw, and on the right, the thickness of the plate (in micrometers).
3. For category 2 of Type A standard test pieces, the strength of the magnetic field in which the magnetic powder pattern appears is higher than in category 1.
4. Type C standard test pieces are used when it is difficult to apply Type A standard test pieces dimensionally, for example, in narrow areas such as the bevel surface of a weld.
