Using a billet cast by a vertical semi-continuous casting machine, deformation processing is performed by a hot extrusion press. By selecting the die used, it is possible to extrude various shapes such as round bars, pipes and hexagons. It can be extruded in billet units and can be used in small lots. Another feature is that deformation processing improves mechanical properties compared to cast products.
