• Features

  Piston vibrator (linear type) model ELV8 generates high amplitude vibration in linear reciprocating movement, and therefore it shows a high performance as the adhesion prevention equipment for hopper, tank, or piping chute. As compared to the knocker series or ball vibrator series of the same adhesion prevention equipment, piston vibrator is an environmentally-friendly product that produces a quiet operating sound and consumes low amount of air. Unlike the conventional piston vibrator EPV series, linear type piston vibrator ELV series has a different structure in which high amplitude can be obtained in high-stroke operation because the piston protrudes outside of cylinder. Moreover, it has a feature that two kinds of amplitudes are secured by reversing the installation direction upside down. Like EPV series, piston vibrator ELV series is an oil-free product with environmental friendliness that is excellent in corrosion resistance, it can be used in any general industries including chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. (Using an oiler will further increase the durability.) As demonstrated in piston vibrator EPV series that has a good track record for many years, it produces a stable vibration force. It is also used as equipment for preventing adhesion and blockage in hopper, tank, or piping chute, or as a drive source of small vibration table or vibration feeder for filling of powder or vibration conveyance.

  Suitable for prevention of adhesion in small container

  Linear type piston vibrator model ELV8 is small and lightweight, 8mm in a diameter of piston and 100g in weight, and can be installed to a small powder container or chute section that used to be difficult for conventional models to be installed because of its high vibration force. It also has a feature that an appropriate vibration can be fine-tuned depending on the characteristic of an object to which the vibrato is installed because adjusting the pressure of supplied air allows a vibration force to be set finely.

  

  Two kinds of amplitude selectable in wide applications

  Linear type piston vibrator supports two kinds of installations: (1) Fix the body housing to an object to be vibrated and then reciprocate the piston, and (2) Fix the piston to an object to be vibrated and then reciprocate the housing. Usually, (1) is selected, but if large amplitude is required, selecting (2) will provide approximated double amplitude.

  Industry-topping durability (wear resistance)

  Because the advanced processing and the wear-resistant processing of EXEN’s unique special technique has been provided for the piston sliding portion in the body, the product takes pride in industry-topping wear resistance.

  Oil-free product applied to a wide range of industries

  Linear type piston vibrator is an oil-free product. Equipped with filter as standard in the exhaust port and producing no oil mist in supplied air, this product have no adverse effect on workplace and handling products. It can be used in a wide range of fields including general industrial equipment field, pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries. (Like the EPV series, using the oiler will further increase the durability.)

  Low noise and low air consumption

  This piston vibrator is designed environmentally friendly, with a noise value of approximately 60 to 70dB and air consumption of 4 to 76L/min (ANR). This leads to reduction in maintenance cost and improvement of work environment through energy saving.

  Safe explosion-proof specification

  This product operates only by air and also has internal pressure structure, which prevents dust from entering into the cylinder pat. That is to say, it is unlikely to take fire like electric type, and can be used even in a place where there is a risk of dust explosion.

  Simple installation

  The body can be installed with one bolt. Just attaching the piston vibrator mounting stay to hopper, tank, or chute allows the body to be installed in any direction of 360 degrees.

  

  Applications for vibration conveyance and vibration filling machine

  Piston vibrator can be used as power source of vibrating feeder for vibration conveyance, filling and diffusion, and vibration table, by applying the vibration principle of piston movement.

  

  Stepless adjustment of vibration power by changing air pressure

  Pneumatic piston vibrator can change the vibration frequency and vibratory force by changing the air pressure. The merit of variable vibration force is to be able to use the same model in a place where the condition of object to which vibrator is installed is different, just by changing the air pressure.

  Instant stop function facilitating use of weighing machine

  Piston vibrator has a function to instantly stop when supplied power is turned OFF, which brings out the effect in vibration conveyance involving weighing. (Instant stop function can avoid the resonance behavior of equipment during the stoppage period or over feed of workpiece.)
