Uses

• Unlike conventional nickel slag, copper slag, and garnet, PS balls do not attract dust, making them suitable for surface treatment, rust removal, and shipbuilding applications. It is also used for ship maintenance.
• It is mainly used for cleaning and surface treatment in oil storage tanks, bridge construction works, construction of heavy steel structures, oil drilling platforms, etc.
• Due to its high bulk specific gravity of 2.42g/cc, it is also used as a counterbalance.
• It is also used as a filter material because it is non-absorbent and durable.
• Due to its non-slip properties, it can be used as a road cover material and as a pavement for concrete and asphalt roads. Since it adheres effectively to asphalt and concrete, it is used as an efficient repair and reinforcement material in a variety of applications.
