Description

This is a KYORITSU’s unique and special ramp (also serves as a door) usable for two Decks.
The ramp body slides up and down to A or B Deck.
Wire, lifting rods, and cylinders enable smooth sliding of the ramp. Then, the ramp stows at A-Deck and serves as a door when closed, providing watertightness and structural strength as part of the shell. This ramp eliminates concerns about berthing conditions, allowing entry into ports with significant tidal ranges. Interlocks separate ramp stretching from vertical sliding operations to prevent accidents caused by misoperation.
