The pendant winding cable reel has an operating pendant switch attached to the tip. The pendant switch is used to wind the cable down to the floor when it is in use, and wind it up on the machine to keep it on standby when it is not needed. The drive unit uses a geared motor with a brake. It has a built-in limit switch that detects the upper and lower winding limits.
