Function

This device is installed on the cargo oil tank of an oil tanker, to keep the pressure in the tank stable, and to protect the cargo oil tank from damages caused by overpressures or under-pressures. Additionally, the device is a breather valve for reducing the vaporization loss of the cargo oil.
In operation, the flame screen in the device can retain sparks from the cargo oil tank to protect the tank.
