Function
This device primarily functions at the cooling water piping of blast furnaces in ironworks, serving as a vacuum relief valve to break siphons.
If the pump stops, there will be the negative pressure condition in the piping. When it happens, this device will take air in to prevent the piping and machines connected from damaging by negative pressure.
In operation, when this device passes water, it can also be the air vent valve and the water seal valve. It can discharge the air out the piping automatically, and refrain water from leaking.
