Function

You use this device as an emergency breather valve for ballast tanks if the ventilation fails. Moreover, the device can protect ballast tanks against the changing of pressure, caused by adding or discharging the ballast.
In addition, the flame screen in the vacuum valve can protect ballast tanks against sparks into ballast tanks.
