- Use as standard or for inspection of machine running condition, Precision machinery assembly, fixing of turbines for generating plants, etc.
- Straightness and Parallelism (Not same as JIS height) clears the requirements for Straight Edge JIS Standard (JISB7514)
- There are hardened and non hardened types.
