The EX model is designed as an enhanced version of the Webstar system, in which a wrinkle-straightening function is incorporated.
Simultaneous web guiding and wrinkle removal are achieved, whereby improved web handling performance is ensured during operation.

An expanding function is integrated into the Webstar system, by which web spreading performance is enhanced during operation.
A pair of slide bars mounted on the roller are designed to gradually move apart to the right and left as the core roller rotates through the first 180°, after which they return to the center during the next 180° rotation.
Effective expansion is achieved when the web is introduced and discharged within the first 180° rotation, whereby optimal spreading performance is ensured.
Control of the sliding amount is performed through signals from sensors, by which the web is guided back to the correct position with high accuracy.

Original guiding systems are offered by the WEBSTAR Model WEX series, by which both web expansion and zig-zag correction are performed simultaneously.
A space-saving design is achieved, as installation at the corner of the line is enabled.
Zig-zag correction is carried out through both dynamic response and static offset, whereby accurate web guiding is ensured.
Compatibility with various models of edge sensors and centering sensors is provided, allowing flexible combinations to be implemented.
