By adding equipment such as a water-discharge type SP head to a fire hydrant, it becomes possible to enable both automatic water discharge and water supply from the fire department.

Normal time

When extinguishing a fire, people approach the source of the flames, which poses a risk of being engulfed in flames and smoke.

Two people are needed: one to open the fire hydrant and another to spray the water.
Proper use requires knowledge and skill, so it is rarely used effectively in emergencies.

When additional installation is required

If you decide to abandon using a fire hydrant to extinguish a fire, activate the fire pump, switch the three-way valve, and evacuate to a safe location outside the building.
By using portable pumps or having water supplied by the fire department, it becomes possible to continue spraying water even if the firefighting water tank runs out.
