Product Description
This device is an automatic power factor regulator. It controls how much power the capacitors receive.
When you use it:
① You can reduce your electricity bill through power-factor discounts.
② A better power factor reduces line current. This lowers the energy lost in wires and transformers.
③ The device adjusts the power factor automatically, so you need less manual work.
④ It prevents the power factor from becoming too advanced at night. This also stops the voltage from rising at night.
Features
The device measures current, voltage, power, and reactive power.
It uses the reactive-power reading to turn the correction capacitor on or off. This keeps the power factor at the right level.
When the capacitor is set to automatic control, an external forced-cutoff input can shut it off.
The device supports 3 circuits.
The operation-answer function lets you check if the capacitor is working.
It measures harmonic currents. If harmonics flow into the capacitor, the device shuts the capacitor off to protect it.
It counts how many times the capacitor switch opens and closes. The count helps you know when to replace the switch.
It monitors the capacitor’s switch contact and shows when the contact is ON.
