No. 654S is a Kapton® (polyimide) film, which has superior heat and chemical resistance properties, coated with a thin layer of a heat-resistant silicone adhesive.
This tape uses a strong, flame-resistant adhesive.
This tape has the strongest adhesive properties among the entire Kapton tape series.
Optimal for use in the insulation of electrical components and parts requiring heat protection, heat-resistant masking, splicing of heat-resistant film, and component feeds during heat-resistant processing.
