Manirobo is a robot system that mainly welds large structures. This type mounts a robot on the tip of the boom of the manipulator suspended from the ceiling, and performs automatic welding in combination with a large turntable. The movement axis consists of three axes, forward/backward, up/down, and turning, all of which are controlled as external axes of the robot. In addition, since the large turntable also rotates by external axis control, a total of 10 axes (6 robot axes and 4 external axes) can be controlled with one control. Furthermore, coordinated control is possible for all axes.
