Summary

Typically, a four-way solenoid valve operates the double-acting cylinder.

A four-way solenoid valve mainly has five pipe connecting ports: one inlet, two outlets, and two exhaust ports. Since it is always closed, the exhaust port provides one of the four directional functions.

A double latch solenoid, with two coils inside, allows valve switching by energizing one of the coils. The valve does not switch to self-holding form, even if a power outage occurs after energization.

Feature

The main valve, a spool type, requires no oil lubrication. A specially configured packing and spool enable oilless operation. A manual button is provided as standard on all types.

These valves are easy to maintain, designed with simplicity and fewer components for long life and easy maintenance. Available as three-way valves, the standard four-way valves can be used as three-way valves by plugging one of the two outlets.

Installation is straightforward, as the Namur mount method allows direct installation to a cylinder without the need for troublesome piping work. The standardized connection configuration ensures compatibility with any cylinder having a Namur mount.

Additionally, the valve connects easily to piping, with Rc1/4 threads cut on the inner surface of the O-ring at the outlet side.
