This is an ultrasonic transmission type web edge detector. It is used in combination with the Q-series control panel and drive unit to control web meandering. It is suitable for detecting transparent objects because it is not affected by the transparency, color, or pattern of the web. The difference between the PS-420 and the similar PS-400 is that the mounting shaft of the PS-420 is made of metal.
