Toho Seisakusho Electric Damper

Made in Japan
Manufacturer: Toho Seisakusho
Product name: Electric Damper

Standard damper

There are two types of commonly used dampers: butterfly and louver types.

Since the butterfly type has a single wing, the structure is simple and a round shape is best, but the wing may protrude a lot.

The louver type has multiple blades and has a rectifying effect, but it lacks airtightness.

Hopper damper

Electric Damper

It processes the powder quantitatively while keeping it airtight. The simple structure makes it easy to inspect for wear and adhesion, and to easily disassemble and replace parts.

In addition, the double hopper type, which is arranged one above the other, allows powder to fall by alternately opening and closing the upper and lower blades, enabling continuous quantitative discharge and preventing powder from scattering due to pressure differences during discharge.

Low leak damper

zu3

Developed for the purpose of low leakage, there are two types: WF (double flap) damper and SF (single flap) damper.
In order to eliminate the gap around the shaft, the flap type damper has a simple structure by separating the shaft from the blades and using a single damper shaft, which has succeeded in reducing weight and cost.

Caster damper

zu4

It is used for high temperature applications and has a track record of many deliveries up to 1000℃. Casters are installed inside the body to lower the temperature around the damper, preventing thermal distortion of the body due to thermal expansion.
The cost is also reduced by making the main body from special heat-resistant material.

Switching damper

zu5Used for switching such as bypass and powder transportation. Since two dampers are combined into one, space is saved and the drive unit can be operated with one unit.
