The YDVK type simultaneous opening valve (pressurized) primarily serves sprinkler fire extinguishing systems, etc. It has passed the tests stipulated in the Ministerial Ordinance (Ministry of Home Affairs Ordinance No. 19 of 1975) that establishes technical standards for simultaneous opening valves, based on the provisions of Article 21-4, Paragraph 2 of the Fire Service Act. The valve body employs a double valve system divided into a main valve and a sub-valve; this system opens and closes the valve in two stages, making it less susceptible to water hammer.
