Overview

The YVB type simultaneous opening valve (pressure reducing type) primarily serves foam fire extinguishing systems in parking lots. It has passed the tests stipulated in the Ministerial Ordinance (Ministry of Home Affairs Ordinance No. 19 of 1975) that establishes technical standards for simultaneous opening valves, based on the provisions of Article 21-4, Paragraph 2 of the Fire Service Act. The simultaneous opening valve is a pressure-reducing valve that sits within each discharge area. A sensing head (closed-type sprinkler head) can activate it automatically, or a manual activation device can open it via remote control.
